Hand Forged Gyuto - "CHERRY BLOSSOM"
Hand-forged, high-carbon Gyuto, masterfully crafted in Japan.
HANDLE: Traditional Japanese-style octagonal handle, with plastic waste collected from restaurants and cafes in East London through our recycling scheme: The ReCycle Lane.

These handles are all handmade and unique, so there will be variations in colour distribution. Every knife is 1 of 1!
BLADE: GYUTO 210mm - Japanese translation: Cow Sword.
The Gyuto is Japans’ equivalent to the standard western-style chef’s knife, able to take on nearly any task in the kitchen, a perfect all-rounder. This blade utilises one of Japan’s most premium and popular knife steels: Blue Aogami #2.
CONSTRUCTION: San Mai is a Japanese technique where the steel that forms the cutting edge is wedged between stainless steel or iron for greater durability and rust resistance.
HRC: 64 - This blade is razor sharp but can chip if used inappropriately. The care sheet supplied with your knife will give you so do’s and don’ts for using your knife safely.
