Second Life Kitchen is evolving. 

3 new lines, something for everyone

When starting this business, I had very little hope of selling a single knife, that what I’d worked so hard to setup would be nothing more than a pipe dream. 

So seeing orders come in within 15 seconds of my first collection going live and not stopping until sell out is a blessing that I can’t thank you all enough for.

Because of the popularity of SLK products, I’ve decided it’s now time to move away from the “drop” based system. Your support has given me the confidence and ability to build up my stock to open a more permanent store. 

I’ve added 3 new fantastic blacksmiths to my portfolio, and stock is building everyday, with more on order. 

I’ll still run some special drops in the future, but I believe this is the next best step for SLK going forward.

Over the next week, I’ll be introducing 3 brand new categories to the SLK line-up, focused on providing an elevated cooking experience for everyone, regardless of budget, needs or experience. 

Everything is high carbon and hand forged in Japan, but now there’s a little something for everyone. 

  • “essentials” - hand forged, Japanese blades on a budget. A perfect entry point for someone looking to dip their toe in the waters of Japanese knives. Starting from £95.

  • “SLK” - Our flagship knives (plus a new model), many already seen in the line-up previously.

  • “Connoisseur” - The best of the best. Designed for both professionals and home cooks that want the most seamless cooking experience possible. Aogami Super steels, Damascus, high end stainless and much more, the “chefs kiss” of knives. 

I’ll be posting more on social media and here in Second Life Stories where I’ll be going more in depth about what each of these new lines have to offer.
